Morning Devotion Week 1

Today was the 2nd day of Morning Devotion @ Singapore Post Centre. We gathered at Heart of God Church's premises for a time of morning prayer and personal time with the Lord. It was really good i must say. Starting the day with God is really amazing because its just so good to sense God's presence before starting my job.

1st day was led by Pastor Tan and today Pastor Aries took over. It was all good and really looking forward to it. Though the waking up part seems a bit difficult, but yeah, the spirit won the flesh.

Actually, am feeling super tired now and trying not to fall asleep in the office because yesterday night, i suddenly woke up at 230am. No, wasn't the phone call or the sms-es, but yeah just suddenly. Well, went back to sleep and once again, i woke up at 4am. This time round, there's a reason. There was this lady who was shouting and shouting for help! At 4am where quietness sets in, it became louder and louder and it really got me looking out of the window, trying to see which block and unit.

Shouting goes like this: [Chinese Version]

Woman: Help!!! Help me!! Pls Help me!!
Woman: Help!!!!! Pls!!! POLICE!! Help!!!
Woman: I AM CRAZY!!! PLS HELP ME!!

This shouting session goes on for about 5 mins, where in between you can see people switching on their lights and there was this malay guy who shouted back, SHUT UP LAH! It was that annoying! Initially, i thought this lady was trying to commit suicide and maybe because it wasn't successful and at that point of shouting, she was just holding on to the railing where we see at the corridor. Well, imaginative huh. Look at what Channel 8 dramas have done to me. :)

But yeah, because of that, i'm just feeling tired. I hope that woman won't carry on shouting tonight, or rather try to attempt suicide again. Or else, the next person who will be shouting, 'Shut up lah' will be a chinese guy. I mean my grandpa. Haha!
