About the Taiwan Trip

Taiwan Trip was indeed awesome!! I went to taiwan from 30th - 12th July. Was there to help out in 3 camps, 2 at Taipei, Danshui @ a school called the Christ College. Another camp was at Kaohsiung @ a very nice school which i can't really remember the name.

Anyway, From the start, the first day of preparation of the camp was the most kan-cheong because we got to settle all the logistics and making sure that everything is ready for the camp next day. My role there was to facilitate the games, setting up and being an usher... which was my EX ministry.

Though the 3 camps were similar.. i think every single camp and every session was just so different. We had deliverance for the first 2 camp, which was headed by Pastor Kong. It was like a spring cleaning and everyone was like so free. You can really feel the freedom in the air. The 3rd camp was headed by Pastor Tan and Pastor Tan went a different flow, speaking on how to work with the Holy Spirit and he preached his recent sermon on how the guys should rise up to the occasion. It was really fun... when you see Pastor Tan, as many of you would have heard that he jumped from the stage and body-surfed across the floor. Pastor Zhuang, Pastor Yock Kiang and many joined in the fun and man.... the place was totally rocked. Another heart-warming session was on the 3rd morning whereby the people broke bread and give to those who have impacted their lives. You can see people smiling, tearing and hugging and the Love of God really just flow through the entire hall.. Too bad.. i don't have the photos to show.. but even photos can't really capture that moment where it was really so touching.

And throughout the whole trip, i think i have really learnt some stuff..

1) I believe when you pray and believe, no mountain can stand your way. And that is of course talking about this taiwan trip which i get to go.

2) 12 days of working tirelessly, it really gets into the flesh but everyday... with God's presence and strength.. it just carried me on without even once falling asleep in the service. i attended all 18 sessions!

3) The energy and passion of the taiwanese youth just amazed me. They come with expectancy, they come with a heart longing for an experience of their lives, so that they can carry this anointing and vision that God has given, to further impact their realm of influence.

But, i guess... more than these.. i have made really really good friends esp those from XinDian Covenant Church. Ian, Paul, Joy, Irene, Jason, Jamie, Albbe and Daisy. Thanks for making this stay a really fruitful and such unforgettable time.. Not forgetting Renjie... who is the one who linked us up together... though i already know Paul and Albbe since last year's Emerge.

This trip has touched me, impacted me, changed my thinking and most importantly, able to serve God with all my strength, might and time. :)

Now is back to reality and ready to grow the Cell Group!

30 by SEPTEMBER.
